Description
Isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol, propanol-2-ol, 2-propanol, alcohol or API). It is a colorless, flammable chemical compound with a strong odor. It is a structural isomer of propanol.
Isopropyl alcohol or isopropanol is normally used as a cleaner for electrical and electronic contacts in de-energized equipment. Also for cleaning and degreasing. Widely used in the cleaning of photographic lens lenses and contacts of electronic devices, as it does not leave marks and evaporates quickly.
